Description

No, I am not completely crazy although I know the Alps, nevertheless I went to see the Taiwanese version, and finally don't regret it. This trip was organized by my company and offered a good opportunity to see another part of Taiwan. The Taiwanese central mountains have their own beauty which attracts tourists from all over the country.

The peaceful and calm atmosphere as shown on this photo, didn't last for long - just till the gates were opened and the crowds of tourists floated into the farm area.

Room with sea-view - in this case the famous cloud-sea at about 1500 meter above sea level. The timber framed construction should underline the typical European style in this region. As soon as I finish my experiments about teleportation, I will rent an apartment here.
Tea ceremony, Taiwanese style. A friendly service provided for hotel guests, and we did not hesitate to accept. After 5 hours on a bus, a cup of good, fresh green tea was exactly what we desired. Combined with the clear air in the mountains this became the perfect moment for chillin'. The green tea is usually provided in a very strong version which amplifies its characteristic taste and pushes you back on track.
Here the crowd at the farm becomes more dense, especially in the tree's shadow. From this location you can watch dogs chasing sheep, and cowboys shearing them. An event that can't be missed by all the townsfolk. The people who can't find place in the shadow make use of their umbrella, especially the ladies, and especially when there is no rain cloud in sight. White skin is one of the ideals of beauty all across Asia. Therefore if you don't want to spend a fortune on whitening-lotions you'd better make use of your umbrella.
Waaaaoooo, a real sheep, incredible! In Taiwan a rare sight, especially for snuggling. A date with sheep and photographer is mandatory for young and old, fortunately I took place behind the camera : )
